In Temeca we have realised that many professionals have the same need: keeping their knives sharp and well maintained. There are certain jobs in which knives are the primary tool, and therefore they need to be in optimal conditions and with excelent cutting power, in order to provide the best results. FILUX machine allows to sharpen knives and scissors quickly, professionally, and independently.

FILUX has two work areas: one of them for knives on the front, another one for scissors on the side.
DOUBLE LIP GRINDING WHEELS
This type of grinding wheel is characterized for its double sharpening surface, which translates into a faster sharpening process. Besides, double grinding wheels wear less and are more durable than simple ones. CBN is a high quality abrasive that protects the steel rom heating up and offers excellent results. Thanks to CBN, the grinding wheels maintain the same angle with no need of being redressed.
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE?
Simply put, no, it’s not necessary. Sharpening with FILUX is so easy that you only have to follow a few steps to achieve an homogeneous and cutting edge. The user just has to pass the knife through the grinding wheels, making sure all the surface of the edge is in contact with the abrasive. Depending on the condition of the knife, 3 or 4 passes will be enough.
